DESCRIPTION
“My Big Idea” is a new series from TED that documents the process of imagining and then creating a TED Talk, featuring first-time speakers and ideas new to the TED stage.

Collaborating with producers at Wing, I created line animations for the first episode in TED's new series. In it the speaker, Hazel Cottle, encourages parents to embrace the rain by highlighting how important outside play is on a child's development.
The video focuses on how rain can help a child's imagination flourish, so I created playful hand drawn cel animations to be placed over several scenes to emphasize this.
CLIENT TESTIMONIAL
Jacob Mackay, Senior Creative & Director at WING London
"Alice is a great addition to any team or project. Everyone loved her work on the TED TALKS bright ideas documentary. She understood our vision from the very first chat and elevated our film with her creative flare. Fast, friendly and super talented!"

DIRECTORS CUT:
The full documentary which was published by TED is very long - 17 minutes. Since I only played a small part in the making of it all, I've included a shortened directors cut below which just highlights the scenes I helped to create.
