AUSTRALIAN OPEN

DESCRIPTION

I worked for Discovery+ Sport building digital key art images for their streaming platform to promote all the Australian Open tennis games in 2023.

I created 10 regional variations of the key art by swapping in tennis players relevant to each market and reversioning the title treatment into each language. I carefully retouched each athlete’s photo and seamlessly integrated them into the existing design layouts, ensuring consistency and impact across all versions.

After retouching each player image based on the versioning details provided by the client, I assembled all assets — including the players, Australian Open title treatment, and background gradient — into a pre-designed Photoshop master file. This file contained a range of preset layouts in multiple aspect ratios. I carefully adjusted each composition, repositioning and scaling layers as needed to match the client's layout guides. This ensured the key art would display seamlessly across a variety of digital formats — from mobile and web banners to widescreen TV and square thumbnails.     I completed this process for 10 different countries, each requiring its own set of five region-specific tennis players.
