I collaborated with talented editors at the BBC to create a series of promos advertising reruns of the hugely popular show Midsommer Murders. 

 

After being handed the promos by the editors, my role was to manipulate the footage to make it look as though all the signage in the scenes hinted at infamous murders from the show.

 

I sat down with the BBC team for a brainstorming session where we would pick a selection of the programmes "best" murders which I could composite into the footage. It was my job to find clever ways to build these murders into the environment, using a variety of street signs and posters. After finding existing imagery of signs online, I used Photoshop to manipulate and redesign the images so they incorporated each murder. I then used After Effects to track and composite the signage into the footage.
