This passion project was an opportunity to refine my typographic skills and deepen my understanding of After Effects as I was establishing myself as a motion designer.

Using the spoken word poem, Shoulders, voiced by the talented poet himself, Shane Koyczan, I carefully edited the audio into a shorter yet coherent piece. I then animated the words in a visually engaging way, ensuring that the typography not only reflected the rhythm of the narration but also creatively matched the meaning behind the spoken words. The result is a dynamic animation that reinforces the poem’s powerful message about the importance of working together to protect our planet.
