DESCRIPTION
This animation was commissioned by NHS England and co-produced by the National Autistic Society (N.A.S), the UK's leading charity for autistic people and their families. The charity strives to transform lives and change attitudes to help create a society that works for autistic people.

The animation was targeted at the family members of young people who have autism. Our aim was to help these families know what to do if their autistic loved one is at risk, has been admitted to or discharged from a mental health hospital.

AUTISM ANIMATION:
The charity paired the animation with this note.. "Life can be overwhelming at times, particularly during periods of change and disruption. Watch these top tips from families on avoiding crisis and admission to an inpatient mental health hospital. Our thanks go to the families and self-advocates whose input shaped this animation."
